Banky W. (born Olubankole Wellington) is a Nigerian R&B and Afropop singer, actor, and politician. He founded EME (Empire Mates Entertainment) in 2002 and discovered Wizkid, helping launch one of the biggest careers in African music. Known for romantic hits like 'Strong Ting' and 'Yes/No,' he later transitioned into Nollywood films and ran for a federal legislative seat in Lagos in 2019 and 2023.
