Biography
Freestyle (born Aderemi Kehinde) is a veteran Nigerian rapper from Lagos who is part of the pioneering generation that helped establish Nigerian hip-hop in the late 1990s. He was associated with the Kennis Music label and gained recognition through his collaborations and solo recordings during one of Nigerian hip-hop's most formative periods. His work helped lay the groundwork for the mainstream acceptance of Nigerian rap.
