Musiliu Babatunde Haruna Ishola is a Nigerian Apala musician and the son of the legendary Haruna Ishola, widely regarded as the father of Apala music. He formally began his music career in 1983, a year after his father's death, carrying forward a multi-generational family tradition in the Yoruba percussion-driven Apala genre. His 2000 album Soyoyo became a million-selling milestone, and he remains the most prominent custodian of his father's musical legacy.
