Obesere (born Abass Akande Obesere) is a controversial Nigerian Fuji musician known as the 'King of Dirty Fuji' for his explicit, adult-themed lyrics within the Fuji genre. He has maintained a large following in Yoruba-speaking communities despite (and often because of) his provocative content, and his albums have sold massively across Nigeria and the Yoruba diaspora. He represents a distinct and influential strand of adult-oriented popular music.
