Rarara (born Dauda Kahutu Rarara) is a prominent Hausa musician and political songwriter from Zamfara State known as 'Mawakin Arewa' (Singer of the North). He is one of the most influential voices in contemporary Hausa popular music and Kannywood culture, and became particularly well-known for campaign songs during Nigerian election cycles. His music has made him a significant cultural figure in Northern Nigeria.
