Biography
Ras Kimono (born Okechukwu Kimono, 1960–2018) was a Nigerian reggae musician from Ogun State known as one of Africa's greatest reggae artists. His 1989 album 'Under Pressure' and the track 'Do It Together' made him a major force in African reggae music. He toured extensively with major Jamaican reggae acts and represented a distinctly Nigerian voice within the global reggae tradition until his death in 2018.
