Seyi Shay (born Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua) is a British-Nigerian singer from London who became one of Nigeria's most prominent female Afropop artists. After a career in the UK pop group Excel, she relocated to Nigeria and signed to Capital Hill Music. Known for her energetic performances and boldly modern image, she released hits including 'Right Now' and 'Murda' and has been a strong advocate for female representation in Nigerian music.
