Biography
Seun Kuti is a Nigerian Afrobeat musician and activist, the youngest son of the legendary Fela Kuti. He took over leadership of his father's iconic Egypt 80 band at the age of 14 after Fela's death in 1997 and has been performing with them ever since. His 2019 album 'Black Times' was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best World Music Album, continuing the politically charged Afrobeat tradition his father created.
