Sola Allyson-Obaniyi is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and voice coach born in 1971 in Ikorodu, Lagos, whose music blends Yoruba folk traditions with gospel and soul. She rose to prominence with her 2003 debut album Eji Owuro—originally a film soundtrack—and has built a devoted following across seven studio albums known for their acoustic warmth and spiritually resonant, Yoruba-language lyrics.
