Biography
Leighton Paul Walsh, known as Walshy Fire, is a Jamaican-American DJ, MC, and producer born in 1976 in Dade County, Florida, to a Jamaican family, who became globally known as a core member of Major Lazer alongside Diplo and Ape Drums. Shaped by Jamaica's sound system culture through his work with the Black Chiney collective, he has also co-produced tracks on Koffee's Grammy-winning EP Rapture and founded a vinyl bar in Miami.
