Iyanya (born Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk) is a Nigerian R&B and Afropop singer from Cross River State who won the inaugural Project Fame West Africa talent competition in 2008. He achieved massive commercial success with his 2012 dancehall-pop hit 'Kukere,' one of the defining Nigerian songs of the decade. His energetic stage presence and consistent releases made him one of the dominant figures in early 2010s Afrobeats.
