Biography
Andrew Nii Commey Otoo, known professionally as Mr Drew, is a Ghanaian Highlife, Afrobeats, and R&B singer and dancer born on June 10, 1996, in Accra. He first gained industry notice as a first runner-up on MTN Hitmaker Season 6 in 2017 and went on to sign with Highly Spiritual Music, the label of producer Kaywa. His hit single "Sugarcane" became one of Ghana's biggest songs of the era, earning him Best New Artist at both the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and 3Music Awards in 2021.
