Sunny Neji is a Nigerian R&B and soul singer born in 1965 in Lagos who ruled the Nigerian music scene through the 1990s and early 2000s with his smooth vocal style. He is best remembered for his 2003 wedding anthem "Oruka," which has become a perennial staple at Nigerian celebrations and earned him the COSON Song of the Decade award.
