BNXN, born Benson Daniel in Lagos State, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter who built an initial following under the name Benson and later transitioned to the moniker BNXN — pronounced Benson — as his career accelerated in the early 2020s. A self-taught musician who grew up in Lagos, he developed a smooth, versatile Afrobeats vocal style that blended contemporary production sensibilities with clear melodic instincts, and he came to wider attention through a combination of strong streaming numbers and high-profile collaborations. His 2021 single Feeling featuring Ladipoe became one of the most celebrated Nigerian songs of the year, earning massive streaming numbers and positive critical reception for its breezy, sun-drenched Afrobeats production and the infectious interplay between the two artists' vocal styles.
