Chief Stephen Osita Osadebe was a legendary Nigerian Highlife musician from Atulumolu, Delta State, born in 1936. Known as the 'King of Nigerian Highlife,' he achieved international fame with his 1984 classic 'Osondi Owendi,' one of the most beloved songs in Nigerian musical history. He maintained a prolific recording career drawing from Igbo cultural traditions until his death in 2007.
